What each lesson covers
Understand the difference between asking, making, researching, and running a workflow.
Attach menu-costings.xlsx with the paperclip, then type: Two things. First, answer in chat: which three menu items have the lowest margin? Second, make a one-page printable price list from this sheet as a document.
Use outcome, audience, context, and constraints to reduce back-and-forth.
Using the attached unit-plan-forces.docx, write one paragraph for the Year 9 parent newsletter explaining what students will learn this term. Audience: parents with no science background. Under 120 words, no jargon, and end with one thing they can try at home.
Give Oppermind the materials it needs while keeping scope clear.
Attach pricing-2026.xlsx and pricing-2025.xlsx, then type: Treat pricing-2026.xlsx as the only source of truth. Compare it with the 2025 file and list every SKU whose price moved by more than 5%, with the old and new price. Ignore the Notes tab.
Move work into the right surface for documents, slides, sheets, visuals, and sites.
Turn the attached campaign-recap.docx into an eight-slide deck for Monday's leadership meeting: one slide per channel, a results slide using the numbers in the document, and a next-steps slide. Open it in the Slide editor.
Correct direction early and keep useful parts instead of restarting.
While the supplier RFP is still being drafted, type: Stop there. Keep the Scope and Timeline sections exactly as written. The Evaluation criteria should be weighted (price 40%, delivery 30%, support 30%) rather than a flat list. Continue from that section.
Separate polished presentation from verified substance.
For the cash-flow summary you just produced from bank-export.csv, mark each figure as taken directly from the file, calculated from it, or assumed. List every assumption on its own line with the reason for it.
Capture a repeatable workflow so the next result starts stronger.
Open Settings from the bottom-left avatar, choose Skills, then Create skill. Name it Interview debrief and paste the prompt that produced your good hiring summary as the method: input is the interview notes, output is a one-page recommendation, and every concern must quote the notes. Activate it.
Build a practical personal adoption plan around recurring work.
This week I used Oppermind for a client onboarding letter, a BAS reminder email and a quote comparison. Write a plan for the next three weekly workflows I should move here: for each, the trigger, the input file, the output and who checks it. Make it a document.
