Install Oppermind Desktop and authorize your PC
Open Settings, Apps and extensions, download Oppermind Desktop for Windows, run the installer, sign in, then authorize This computer.
Choose Desktop co-pilot mode
Select the installed native automation mode only for work that genuinely needs the connected computer.
Start with a reversible task
Describe the goal and limits, keep consequential actions behind permission prompts, and avoid sensitive or irreversible work while learning.
Watch progress and take control
Use the live panel and screen view to monitor, stop, redirect, or take manual control when the result or path needs correction.

Understand the Desktop Agent boundary
The installed agent lets Lato read the shared screen, move the cursor, type, manage windows, and run approved jobs on the connected PC.
Ask in chat: Once the Desktop Agent is paired, which parts of this job run on my PC and which can you do in the workspace? The job: rename the 40 scanned invoices in my Downloads folder and draft the covering email to the accountant.
Install Oppermind Desktop and authorize your PC
Open Settings, Apps and extensions, download Oppermind Desktop for Windows, run the installer, sign in, then authorize This computer.
Click your avatar at the bottom-left, open Settings, then Apps and extensions, and download Oppermind Desktop for Windows. Run the installer, sign in with the same account, then open the Desktop co-pilot panel, choose This computer and click Authorize.
Choose Desktop co-pilot mode
Select the installed native automation mode only for work that genuinely needs the connected computer.
Click the mode chip that reads Auto and choose Desktop co-pilot, then ask: Open our accounting app, export last month's aged-receivables report to the Desktop as CSV, and stop there.
Start with a reversible task
Describe the goal and limits, keep consequential actions behind permission prompts, and avoid sensitive or irreversible work while learning.
In Desktop co-pilot mode, ask: Create a folder called Test-Sort on my Desktop, copy (do not move) the 12 photos from the Site-Visit folder into it, and rename the copies by date. Ask me before deleting or moving anything.

While Lato fills in last week's timesheet portal, watch the live panel and screen view; when it picks the wrong project code for Tuesday, click Stop and type: Tuesday should be PRJ-118, not PRJ-181. Continue from Wednesday.
